Senate Game and Fisheries Committee to Hold Hearing on Hunting License Fees

HARRISBURG – The Senate Game and Fisheries Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday in Doylestown to examine hunting license fees, according to Committee Chairman Chuck McIlhinney (R-Bucks and Montgomery).

The hearing will focus on proposed legislation that would increase hunting license fees to support the state's wildlife management efforts. Carl Roe, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Game Commission, will testify at the hearing, and members of the public will be given an opportunity to ask questions and voice their concerns.

"Two of our committee's most important priorities are protecting our natural wildlife resources for future generations and representing the interests of our sportsmen," McIlhinney said. "This hearing will provide the committee and the public with valuable information on the potential impacts of the proposed hunting license fee structure."

The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. at 1745 Turk Road in Doylestown. Media coverage is welcome.
